Segment #1: Is Capitalism Evil?
The election season is already heating up and there is a ton of discussion happening about which system of economics reflects biblical values: socialism or capitalism? Some presidential candidates are even suggesting that Jesus was a socialist. Is that true?
I asked my friend, theologian and philosopher, Dr. Mike Gurney, to lead us through an important discussion on money, economics, and the Christian worldview.
Here are some of the questions we covered.
What is “capitalism”? How might we contrast that with “socialism” and “communism”?
When it comes to earning money and the economy, what do you think are some of the key principles that Christians need to start from?
Was Jesus a socialist? What about the early Christians?
Doesn't capitalism create inequality between rich and poor?
What are the dangers of corny capitalism?
Doesn't capitalism encourage greed?
Which economic system is the best to help us love our neighbor?
Here are some additional resources we mentioned during the show.

Segment #2: Is Benny Hinn repenting of teaching the prosperity Gospel?
Last week, a video was circulating showing TV evangelist, Benny Hinn, making some statements distancing himself from prosperity Gospel teachings.
Many Christians weren't convinced.
Monique and I had some thoughts about it.
Segment #3: Is inter-racial marriage unbiblical?
So, apparently, there are still people who believe that the Bible prohibits interracial marriage. And sometimes, they run for city council in Michigan.
So, I thought it was time to set the record straight.
